We provide management consulting, coaching, and professional development to support small and mid-sized organizations across the country. Position Overview: This role blends HR administration with light finance and accounting support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both structure and variety in their work. You will support internal operations and client service delivery by processing payroll, managing benefits and compliance documentation, onboarding workflows, basic reporting, and vendor coordination. Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Support

Maintain accurate and compliant employee and contractor records (digital files, I-9s, W-4s, NDAs, etc.) Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, system setup, and policy acknowledgments Track and update employee status changes, leaves of absence, and certifications Assist with recruitment coordination, background checks, and candidate communication as needed Payroll & Benefits Administration

Process payroll in collaboration with external accountant or payroll provider Track hours, pay rates, and stipends for employees and contractors Administer benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations; liaise with benefit vendors as needed Reconcile monthly benefits invoices and support employee questions regarding coverage Finance & Compliance Coordination

Prepare and organize 1099 and W-2 tracking documentation for year-end reporting Support invoice tracking, light expense reporting, and budget data entry for client-facing projects Ensure ongoing compliance with HR and tax-related filing deadlines and best practices Collaborate with leadership to streamline internal HR and finance processes Attend weekly hybrid or in-person meetings in the North Metro area Communicate professionally with internal staff, external partners, and clients Manage priorities independently while escalating critical issues to leadership Qualifications

3+ years of experience in HR administration, payroll processing, or small business finance coordination Proficient with payroll and HR systems (e.g., Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar platforms) Strong attention to detail, especially in tracking employee data, compensation, and deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work independently and within a small team Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and basic project management tools Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized across multiple projects Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality Prior experience in a consulting, nonprofit, or small business environment is a plus What We Offer
