Concrete Quality Control Technician
to join our growing team. This position is based out of our Wilmington, MA location and plays a vital role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
Perform field and lab testing on fresh concrete in accordance with ASTM standards (slump, air content, temperature, unit weight) Cast and transport test cylinders for compressive strength testing Collect and evaluate samples of aggregates and other mix materials Monitor plant production and jobsite pours to ensure compliance with mix designs and specifications Maintain accurate test records and input data into quality control systems Identify and report non-conforming results to supervisors and production staff Calibrate, maintain, and clean all testing equipment Collaborate with dispatch, drivers, and plant personnel to resolve quality concerns Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician – Grade I (or ability to obtain within 90 days) Previous experience in concrete QC or construction materials testing preferred Familiarity with ASTM and MassDOT specifications is a plus Strong math, organizational, and communication skills Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, mobile apps) Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation required About
