Location Hollywood, Florida
Summary Conducts the Medical Staff credentialing process.
Responsibilities
Maintains an accurate, up‑to‑date credentialing database, including editing data and monitoring expireables and applicable notifications to providers in a timely manner.
Serves as a resource for inquiries regarding credentialing components and processes.
Effectively communicates with providers and/or their delegates throughout the credentialing/reappointment process.
Processes applications for initial appointment, reappointment, and requests for privileges in accordance with state and federal regulations, accreditation guidelines, Medical Staff bylaws, and departmental policy and procedure.
Demonstrates the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with keen attention to detail.
Maintains confidentiality.
Prepares accurate documents such as agendas, committee minutes, and timelines as needed.
