Job duties include but are not limited to: Conduct and coordinate comprehensive integrated treatment programs to meet client needs in alignment with program accreditation and governmental standards Work within a multidisciplinary treatment team and provide clinical consultation and diagnostic testing as needed Provide individual and group psychotherapy with a diverse inpatient population Serve as a liaison with outside providers to coordinate client care More About Us

We provide trauma-informed gender-responsive treatment that empowers individuals to manage recovery and return to the community. CVH has a history dating back to 1868. We are the State’s public hospital with 18 inpatient units over two campuses. Our recovery approach emphasizes patient-centered care and life skills development. Young Adult Services (YAS) supports young adults (18-25) transitioning from the Department of Children & Families (DCF) to adult mental health services. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - General Experience A doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology and one (1) year of post-doctoral experience as a psychologist working under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Special Requirements
Must possess and retain a license to practice psychology in Connecticut. Some positions may require licensure. Must possess and maintain eligibility for participation in federal health care programs as defined in 42 U.S.C. Language or ASL proficiency may be required. May be required to travel. Working Conditions
Incumbents may be required to lift and restrain individuals, have exposure to infectious diseases, and risk of injury from aggressive individuals. Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity
