About The Role The Finance Automation & Analytics team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives that advance analytics, automation, reporting, and process improvement across the Finance organization. This individual will play a critical role in managing cross‑functional projects that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen data and reporting capabilities, and drive transformation within Finance.
This role requires strong leadership, collaboration across Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, and the ability to successfully execute projects that align with enterprise strategy and objectives. The position follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our Marlborough office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Facilitate Finance Automation & Analytics projects, including planning, execution, and delivery
Develop project charters, timelines, and resource plans to ensure alignment with strategic goals
Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies; proactively elevate and resolve issues
Drive adoption of project management best practices and ensure project documentation is complete and accurate
Partner with Finance, IT, and business leaders to understand requirements, define priorities, and align on outcomes
Communicate project status, key risks, and results to senior leadership and project sponsors
Facilitate workshops, governance meetings, and decision‑making sessions to maintain alignment
Collaborate with the team to prioritize automation and analytics opportunities and enhancements
Coordinate with analysts and developers to ensure smooth deployment, documentation, and monitoring of automation tools and analytics solutions
Support testing, implementation, scheduling, and monitoring of solutions
Foster knowledge sharing across multidisciplinary teams, including Finance, IT, and external partners
Ensure lessons learned are documented and applied to future projects
Contribute positively to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, ideally in Finance, Analytics, or Technology‑driven environments
Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet)
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem‑solving skills; able to navigate ambiguity and resolve conflicts effectively
Preferred Qualifications
PMP, Agile, or Scrum Master certification
Experience with analytics and automation tools
Prior exposure to process improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma)
Experience working in large, global organizations with complex stakeholder environments
Advanced degree (MBA or related)
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership
