Please note that this is a no-cost training. There is a stipend provided at completion of the training and lunch is also provided at every training session.
The program includes 80 hours of CHW core competency training certified by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, job readiness and additional training opportunities, plus one‑on‑one job placement support.
What is a Community Health Worker (CHW)? Community Health Workers (CHWs) are essential frontline professionals who connect local communities with public health and social services, addressing health inequities caused by language barriers, cultural stigmas, and lack of culturally responsive education. CHWs leverage their lived experiences to effectively bridge the gap between community members and essential resources.
Program Overview Our FREE 7‑week in‑person training program offers an excellent opportunity to enter the public health sector. Participants will benefit from comprehensive job training and placement assistance through our network of employer partners.

Minimum Selection Criteria:
Must be a Massachusetts resident
18 years or older
Unemployed
