Responsibilities
Train staff and assist the director of nursing
Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home‑like environment for residents
Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, and medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self‑care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per LPN scope of practice and state regulations
Qualifications
Possess a current LPN license in good standing
