Nurse Manager (Chapel Hill & Carrboro)
Department: Nursing | Reports to: Associate Director of Nursing
Position Overview Utilizes the nursing process including: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and recording of patient care and patient education. Provides support to providers by anticipating needs and providing assistance in the provision of care. Coordinates services with other members of the health‑care team, internal and external, to provide complex patient care. Answers or returns phone calls. Provides onsite and telephone triage. Assist with the check‑in process when needed. Practices within the scope of the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act and Piedmont Health Services’ policies, procedures, and standards. Hires, supervises and coordinates the orientation of new staff. Performs staff evaluations and develops Performance Improvement Plans as needed. Evaluates and coordinates ongoing training. Participates in conflict resolution. Works with management team to address center flow and operations. Maintains inventory of supplies and medications and orders as needed. Ensures all quality assurance measures are achieved. Assures adequate clinical support staffing. Provides leadership and models professional behavior to the staff.
Work Details
Work Locations: 107 Conner Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27514 (2 days/weekly) & 301 Lloyd St, Carrboro, NC 27510 (3 days/weekly)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (must also be available to cover late night on Monday & Thursday and/or Saturday mornings as needed)
Travel: Yes
This role will have oversight of the Chapel Hill Community Health Center AND Carrboro Community Health Center

Qualifications
Education: Diploma, Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
Licensure/Certification: Current NC Registered Nurse’s License and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required.
Experience: Experience as a nurse manager in ambulatory (1–2 years minimum). Preferred: at least 3 years as a charge nurse in ambulatory.
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
Pay Range: $76,424 – $102,707
