Location: Wichita, KS
Salary: $97,926.00–$137,000.00
Job Overview PracticeLink invites candidates to apply for the Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner position at Ascension Medical Group Via Christi in Wichita, Kansas. The role is outpatient, Monday‑Friday 8 AM‑5 PM with 36 patient‑facing hours and no call schedule.
Responsibilities
Obtain patient history and perform assessment through observation, interview, and examination.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies.
Provide preventative health assessments, screening, immunizations, and general patient care.
Manage health conditions via direct treatment, referral to other providers or community resources.
Deliver education and counseling to patients and families about preventive health, treatment options, and community resources.
Document diagnoses and care in accordance with specialty standards and network policy.
Requirements
BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer date.
Certified Nurse Practitioner credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained before hire.
Master’s degree in Nursing required.
Licensed Registered Nurse preferred.
