About the Role
The role involves preparing and filing various tax returns, assisting clients with their financial data, and providing strategic tax planning and advice.
Responsibilities
Preparing and filing individual, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, partnership, estate, trust, and non-profit tax returns.
Assisting in gathering and organizing client financial data and tax documents.
Communicating with clients to clarify tax-related questions and resolve discrepancies.
Conducting tax planning and projections for individual and business clients.
Researching complex tax issues and providing recommendations.
Collaborating with the Tax Director and team to deliver timely and accurate tax filings.
Leading tax planning initiatives and providing strategic advice to clients.
Serving as a key point of contact for client relationships, building trust and delivering exceptional service.
Staying updated on tax legislation changes and implementing them in client engagements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
1+ years of experience preparing and reviewing tax returns across diverse client types.
A solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations is required.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills and a commitment to excellent client service.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
