Strategic Business Partnership: Develop and implement people strategies that drive business results across multiple service lines Partner with directors and managers to analyze workforce trends, anticipate needs, and create proactive solutions Lead organizational change initiatives using structured change management methodologies Facilitate quarterly planning sessions to establish clear priorities and measurable outcomes Use data analytics to identify patterns, predict challenges, and recommend evidence-based solutions Employee Relations & Culture Development
Serve as a trusted advisor for complex employee relations matters, conducting thorough investigations when needed Build programs that reinforce our values of serving others, collaboration, continuous improvement, resilience, ambition, and curiosity Create psychologically safe environments where team members can thrive Design and implement retention strategies addressing disability services challenges Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that reflect the communities we serve Performance & Talent Management
Implement systematic approaches to performance management with clear expectations and regular feedback Develop career pathways to help direct support professionals grow into leadership roles Create succession planning strategies ensuring continuity of care Coach managers on productive performance conversations and team development Build talent pipelines addressing critical shortage areas in disability services Compliance & Risk Management
Maintain knowledge of Minnesota 245D regulations from an HR perspective Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws while minimizing organizational risk Partner with quality assurance teams to maintain strong regulatory standing Develop policies and procedures that protect employees and individuals we serve Stay current on healthcare workforce regulations and best practices Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field 5+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated business partnership success Strong knowledge of Minnesota and federal employment laws Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics tools Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification Experience in healthcare, human services, or other mission-driven organizations Knowledge of Minnesota 245D regulations and disability services Experience with structured operating systems or accountability frameworks Background in change management and organizational development Structured Approach to Success
Weekly structured meetings to solve problems Quarterly priorities with clear 90-day goals Regular scorecards and transparent metrics Open communication and constructive problem solving Accountability with support and resources Compensation & Benefits
