The Analytics and Performance Excellence (APEX) team, supporting AbbVie\'s US Commercial organization, is comprised of over 300 professionals and continues to grow. Senior Manager, Marketing Analytics, Immunology , within APEX, plays an instrumental role in maximizing opportunities for AbbVie\'s Immunology portfolio. The Senior Manager provides leadership for all brand/indication combinations and addresses business needs across Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Gastroenterology franchises. You will influence EIMP, IRA, franchise analytics, financial forecasts, HCP and patient targeting, SG\u0026A investment recommendations, performance measurement, and the development of advanced capabilities. You should demonstrate strong subject matter expertise in the U.S. Immunology market and understand the data and analytic techniques needed to influence strategy. This role engages with external data and service providers (including IQVIA, ZS, and others) and pulls brand strategy and tactics at national and sub-national levels. Major Responsibilities
Advance analytic capabilities within the Immunology Therapeutic Area through proactive development of new data and technical capabilities, working with internal teams and external suppliers Partner with APEX Market Access Insights and Patient Services to provide insights on EIMP initiatives and standards of care for IMM patients Advance Immunology reporting and tracking capabilities; automate and streamline processes to reduce manual work Engage with the financial planning process; provide input into forecasts and act as a key conduit to forecasting for monthly estimates, annual plans, and long-range plans Collaborate with AbbVie Digital Lab and APEX Center to build Immunology Omnichannel platforms and capabilities, including building required Immunology data and Omnichannel Analytics Infrastructure Build collaborative relationships with APEX Insights and Analytics, APEX Market Access, APEX Center, Digital Lab, Finance/Forecasting, APEX Patient Services, and Sales Operations Provide product performance reports at regular intervals to facilitate understanding of brand performance relative to targets (Plan and LBE) Develop fact-based promotional investment strategies and guide investment decisions from marketing mix and other analyses to optimize performance and inform forecasts Develop near-term KPIs and longer-term ROI measurements to inform recommendations for optimizing personal and non-personal promotional channels Understand sub-national drivers of cross-brand performance and provide granularity across distribution channels and customers Leverage innovative analytic models that address critical issues while meeting cost, risk, business impact, reliability, validity, and predictability criteria Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver integrated analytics reflecting diverse contributions Qualifications
Education: Required:
Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Decision Sciences, Operations Research, or Applied Mathematics Preferred:
Advanced Degree (Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Sociology or Engineering) with emphasis in marketing/sales/quantitative analysis Required Skills: 5-7 years of experience in quantitative analysis of sales and marketing information and use in business planning and strategy Working knowledge of multivariate statistics, analytical software, and pharmaceutical data sources (IQVIA, SHA, MMIT, SSR, CMS, Truven, etc.) Hands-on expertise in current analytical methods and tools (including machine learning) Strong working knowledge of modeling and querying tools such as R, Python, SQL, Dataiku, etc. Intimate knowledge of marketing, sales, and logistics planning processes, advanced quantitative expertise, systems understanding, and ability to develop and use specialized analytic techniques Strong visualization and storytelling skills; ability to synthesize complex information into concise messages Experience managing multiple analytic projects/portfolio and priorities Adept at working with syndicated pharma data (IQVIA, Symphony, etc.) Experience developing and deploying analytics solutions addressing business needs Adept at navigating a matrix environment with effective communication and influence skills Strong influence and leadership skills; ability to work with senior management Additional Information
