Join a world-class cardiac surgery team delivering lifesaving care to children with complex heart disease. The

Pediatric Perfusionist

operates extracorporeal circulation systems—including heart-lung machines—during open-heart and transplant procedures. Working side-by-side with cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and physician assistants, you’ll ensure safe, precise management of circulatory and respiratory support throughout surgery.

What You’ll Do

Operate and monitor

heart-lung machines and extracorporeal devices

during cardiac and congenital surgeries.

Adjust perfusion parameters to maintain optimal patient physiology.

Administer

medications and blood products

through the perfusion circuit with accuracy.

Maintain and troubleshoot perfusion equipment; manage inventory and quality control.

Document all procedures and outcomes, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Collaborate across surgical, anesthesia, and intensive‑care teams to provide seamless, high‑quality care.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree

in Perfusion Technology or related field ( Master’s preferred ).

Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)

credential from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.

2+ years

of clinical perfusion experience ( 5+ preferred ).

Experience with

ECMO, VADs, and congenital cardiac perfusion

strongly valued.

Calm, focused, and detail‑driven under pressure; excellent communicator and team collaborator.
