Regional Vice President of Operations

Base Pay Range $165,000 – $180,000 per year
Overview We are seeking an experienced Regional Vice President of Operations to oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities throughout the Dallas region for a reputable owner/operator. The ideal candidate will be a strong, strategic leader with deep operational expertise, financial acumen, and a proven ability to drive performance across diverse asset types.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and operational oversight for a regional portfolio of multifamily communities (conventional and affordable housing)
Lead and mentor regional and on-site teams to achieve occupancy, financial, and customer service goals
Oversee operating budgets, financial reporting, and capital planning
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal affordable housing regulations
Collaborate with senior leadership to implement strategic initiatives and drive portfolio growth
Monitor property performance metrics and ensure consistent execution of company standards
Partner with asset management, accounting, and development teams to align operational and investment objectives
Direct reports: 3 Regional Managers
Qualifications
Minimum
10+ years of multifamily property management experience
Proven leadership skills in managing large portfolios and multiple teams
Strong financial and operational management experience
High level understanding of affordable housing programs
Excellent communication, organization, and team development abilities
