Executive Assistant to CEO of a FinTech Co.
We are seeking a high-caliber Executive Assistant who thrives in fast-paced environments and can anticipate needs, streamline operations, and serve as a true right hand to the CEO. Ideal candidates will have 3-5+ years of C-level EA experience in finance, fintech, or legal tech industries. Candidates with HR experience are also highly preferred as this role will entail light HR duties. This is a fully onsite role, located in Santa Monica.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex scheduling and calendar coordination
Oversee inbox management and streamline communication
Organize meetings, calls, and internal/external appointments
Expense management
Booking travel arrangements and creating detailed itineraries
Provide general administrative support including travel research (minimal travel), event planning, document management, and light personal assistant support (approx. 20%)
Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison, ensuring priorities are aligned
Protect and manage the CEO’s time and energy effectively
Occasionally provide off‑hours flexibility (very rare weekend work)
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior executive, ideally in tech or finance (startup preferred)
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Ability to operate independently with sound judgment and proactive thinking
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-changing startup environment
Pay:
Up to $110,000 + benefits
