Key Responsibilities Lead & Empower People
Build trust, accountability, and engagement across construction, design, cabinetry, pre‑construction, and administrative teams.
Coach and develop leaders, fostering ownership and alignment.
Strengthen the company’s culture by modeling its values in everyday decisions and communication.
Build and refine operational systems, processes, and rhythms that enable sustainable growth.
Ensure tools, SOPs, and best practices are not only implemented, but adopted and lived by the team.
Simplify complexity — creating clarity, consistency, and flow.
Ensure Capacity & Flow
Oversee scheduling and capacity planning, ensuring projects move seamlessly from design through construction.
Anticipate bottlenecks and resolve them before they disrupt workflow or client experience.
Financial & Strategic Alignment
Partner with the President and accounting team to connect operational performance with financial outcomes.
Track key metrics and communicate insights that drive proactive decision‑making.
Balance growth with sustainability and margin integrity.
Uphold Standards & Client Experience
Protect the company’s reputation for excellence in design, craftsmanship, and service.
Hold teams accountable to milestones, quality benchmarks, and communication standards.
Integrate Across Divisions
Act as the operational bridge between current and future divisions.
Align shared resources such as marketing, finance, and administration.
Lead strategic initiatives that turn vision into reality without sacrificing day‑to‑day stability.
Qualifications Required Skills & Experience
Proven success leading and empowering multi‑disciplinary teams.
Track record of building trust, accountability, and alignment across departments.
Strong operational acumen — able to design and implement systems, training, and accountability structures that scale.
Experience guiding organizations through growth or transition with calm, clarity, and consistency.
Financial literacy and business insight to connect operations with strategic and financial goals.
Preferred Background
5–10+ years in senior leadership, operations, or general management.
Experience in construction, design‑build, or related industries preferred but not required.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar.
Comfortable engaging with discerning clients and upholding brand standards.
A relational leader who balances accountability with empathy.
Growth‑minded and energized by building systems that empower people.
Calm under pressure, decisive in complexity, and values‑driven at every turn.
Willing to live in or relocate to South Carolina.
