Principal Engineer / Senior Principal Engineer
Hazen is seeking a qualified and experienced Principal Engineer/Sr. Principal Engineer for our Silver Spring, MD office.
Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
Leading and delivering municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities planning and design projects.
Task responsibilities will include preparation of assessment and design reports, performing design calculations, equipment sizing/selection, preparation of construction documents, and support of construction management/commissioning needs.
Field work and site visits from planning through construction and commissioning will be required.
Required Qualifications
5-7 years of water and wastewater conveyance and/or treatment design experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in project management for smaller projects is preferred.
Self-starter with attention to detail.
PE License is required or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
