Compensation
Compensation Range: $200,000 - $250,000 per year. This range is based on your skills and experience; your actual pay will be discussed with the recruiter.
About the Role Become the first Solutions Engineer at Momentic! You’ll work closely with Account Executives and customers to scope, design, and run technical evaluations. The role involves creating POCs, handling high-volume engagements, and replacing legacy tooling that relies on outdated frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

Responsibilities
Lead technical deep‑dives and demos with engineering, QA, and other stakeholders
Scope and run technical POCs alongside an Account Executive
Own customer onboarding, CI/CD integrations, and success criteria
Serve as the technical voice of the customer and help shape the product roadmap
Manage a large volume of POCs and ensure every prospect is set up for success
Sales Process Overview
Prospect books a demo
First sales call (discovery & demo)
Scope a technical POC (tests, CI integration, success metrics)
Onboard and run the technical POC (≈1 month)
Negotiate and close
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in technical pre‑sales, solutions engineering, or sales engineering
Background in developer tools, testing/observability, or infrastructure
Comfortable diving deep technically; debugging, CI/CD integration, testing best practices
Strong communication skills to translate technical value to engineers and executives
Based in San Francisco and willing to commute to the office
