Position Overview We are seeking a nurse practitioner (MNA) or physician assistant to provide direct clinical care within an adult urgent care practice at our Kenmore site. Clinical care includes acute care and same‑day urgent care. The role requires collaboration on a team and uses a fully integrated EMR system. Weekend requirements: every third weekend.
Responsibilities
Provide acute, same‑day urgent care for adult patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.
Maintain accurate patient records in EMR.
Adhere to weekend schedule requirements (every third weekend).
Qualifications Education:
NP: Nationally certified FNP or AGNP, graduate of an accredited master's NP program and possess state licensure to practice as APRN in Massachusetts.
PA: Nationally certified as a Physician Assistant and possess Massachusetts licensure.
Both: Maintain Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum two years of ambulatory and/or urgent care experience, including chronic disease management.
Proficiency in simple suturing, I&Ds, basic splinting, and IV insertion.
