The Director, GHEOR – Cell Therapy will lead the development and execution of health economics and outcomes research strategies to support the value proposition of cell therapy assets in the US market. This role will uniquely focus on US Value Demonstration, ensuring that payer-relevant evidence is generated and translated into actionable insights that support access, reimbursement, and utilization decisions. Responsibilities
US Value Demonstration Strategy Lead the design and execution of US-focused HEOR strategies for cell therapy assets, including pre-launch and in-line products.
Develop and refine US payer value propositions, integrating clinical, economic, and humanistic evidence
Collaborate with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to align HEOR deliverables with brand objectives.
Evidence Generation & Translation Design and oversee studies including cost-effectiveness, budget impact, real-world evidence (RWE), and patient-reported outcomes (PROs).
Translate evidence into compelling value messages, objection handlers, and stakeholder-specific materials for use by Field HEOR and Market Access teams.
Support development and updates of payer value dossier and reactive materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as a strategic partner to Marketing, Clinical Development, and Medical Affairs.
Represent HEOR in cross-functional teams and contribute to integrated evidence planning.
Engage with external stakeholders including payers, organized customers, and key opinion leaders.
Leadership & Execution Manage external vendors and internal resources to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of HEOR capabilities within the Cell Therapy franchise.
Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MPH, MS) in health economics, epidemiology, public health, or related field
Minimum 8 years of HEOR experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on US market access
Proven track record in developing and executing HEOR strategies for innovative therapies, ideally in oncology or cell therapy
Deep understanding of US payer landscape, HTA processes, and evidence requirements
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
Preferred qualifications
Experience with CAR T cell therapy modalities
Familiarity with hematologic malignancies
Prior involvement in launch planning and lifecycle management for US products
Compensation Overview
Madison - Giralda - NJ - US: $211,880 - $256,748; Princeton - NJ - US: $211,880 - $256,748. The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience.
