Role Summary Staff Site Reliability Engineer at Globality, leading the development and scaling of technical foundations for business-critical services. You will drive initiatives to enhance reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure and collaborate across teams to promote automation and operational excellence.
This role is hybrid, with a minimum of four days per week onsite in our Palo Alto HQ.
What you will be doing
Develop automation code to provision and operate infrastructure at scale.
Collaborate with Architects to implement foundational technologies, policies, and practices that support a high-velocity, secure, and compliant platform.
Plan and execute long-term roadmaps across multiple teams and departments.
Build resilient, scalable, secure, and observable services with cost optimization in mind.
Proactively identify and address security concerns across systems and infrastructure.
What we are looking for
9+ years of experience building and scaling distributed infrastructure.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience with scale testing, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
Experience managing distributed systems in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
Design, write, and maintain code in Python, Go, Ruby, or Java.
Passion for automating manual operations and continuously improving systems.
Hands-on experience with configuration management and software delivery tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Pulumi).
Experience deploying, supporting, and monitoring services, platforms, and application stacks.
Strong sense of ownership, integrity, and clear communication.
Experience delivering solutions in IL5 or FedRamp High/Moderate environments.
Collaborate with security and compliance teams to meet FedRamp, IL5, CMMC, NIST 800-53, and similar controls, ensuring audit readiness.
Experience using and owning AI tools to enhance operational efficiency, automate workflows, or support infrastructure management.
U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements and IL5 compliance.
Compensation and Equal Opportunity The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $230,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location.
