Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to ensure the accuracy and reliability of asset data within IBM Maximo Asset Management. This role is critical to supporting maintenance and asset management strategies by delivering actionable insights, maintaining data integrity, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of asset lifecycle processes, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, prepare, and upload data from various sources into Maximo, ensuring proper mapping and quality checks.
Validate and maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the system.
Partner with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management and improve operational efficiency.
Extract, clean, and analyze data from Maximo to support business objectives and reporting needs.
Collaborate with site teams and Maximo users to resolve data-related issues and support ongoing updates.
Assist with troubleshooting Maximo data issues, system upgrades, configuration changes, and data migration projects.
Train users on automated data entry, reporting tools, and best practices for maintaining data quality.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for assets, maintenance activities, and compliance.
Provide recommendations based on data trends and predictive analytics to enhance preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.
Basic / Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI ).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of asset management, maintenance processes, and reliability principles.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or related field OR 8+ years of equivalent experience.
