Per Diem Internal Medicine Physician Overview:
The physician examines adult patients 18+ to ensure proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. They request medically necessary tests, follow‑up visits, and referrals to specialists. They see patients in office from 8 am–5 pm Monday‑Friday, with opportunities to work after‑hours, weekends, and virtual medicine. They manage their own in‑baskets in Epic and are supported by nursing and administrative staff. Outpatient and inpatient work is optional. No after‑hours hospital call is required. Competitive hourly rate.
Primary Responsibilities
See patients in an outpatient setting Monday‑Friday from 8 am – 5 pm, including new patients and corporate physicals.
Participate in the Family Medicine Call single call group; on‑call about once per month, shared on weekend days.
Conduct annual physicals and wellness exams.
Provide preventive medicine services.
Required Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD, DO)
Accredited Residency training
Licensed or willing to be licensed in the state of Texas
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range $226,000–$366,000 annually for full‑time employment. Additional benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution.
