About the Campaign
Dr. Tim Peck is an emergency room physician running for Indiana’s 9th Congressional District. The campaign is focused on the needs, values, and voices of rural communities in an area often ignored by Democrats and Republicans alike. This is a competitive race with national implications, and we’re building a top-tier team ready to deliver victory in 2026.
Position Summary Tim Peck for Congress is hiring a full-time, in-person Finance Director to lead the campaign’s fundraising program. The Finance Director will design and execute the finance plan, manage call time, oversee events, and cultivate donor relationships across Indiana and nationally. This is a senior leadership position working directly with the Candidate, Campaign Manager, and consulting team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on executor with experience running a professional campaign finance operation.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Execution
Design and manage a comprehensive finance plan with clear goals across major donors, PACs, digital, and grassroots fundraising.
Develop and monitor monthly and quarterly revenue targets; prepare regular progress reports and cash flow forecasts.
Call Time Management
Lead candidate call time: prepare call lists, donor research, call sheets, and follow-up systems.
Manage call time assistants or interns to ensure efficiency and disciplined follow-up.
Event Planning & Execution
Organize and execute fundraising events ranging from small house gatherings to high-dollar receptions.
Coordinate host committees, invitations, follow-up, and acknowledgments.
Donor Cultivation & Stewardship
Identify, research, and cultivate major donor prospects and bundlers in-district and nationally.
Maintain relationships through personalized outreach, updates, and engagement opportunities.
Data, Systems & Compliance
Maintain clean and accurate donor records in NGP or comparable CRM.
Generate detailed fundraising reports, projections, and briefings.
Coordinate with the compliance vendor to ensure timely, accurate FEC reporting.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and oversee finance interns and volunteers assisting with events, call time, and data management.
Qualifications (Required)
At least two full campaign cycles of fundraising experience in a federal, statewide, or competitive legislative race.
Demonstrated success managing major donor programs and call time operations.
Familiarity with key fundraising tools: NGP/NGP VAN, ActBlue, Google Workspace, Numero, CallTime.ai, Grassroots Analytics or comparable systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed during the campaign cycle.
Driver’s license and ability to travel within the district as necessary.
