We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Hematology Oncology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancers. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-quality care and improving patient outcomes. You will be involved in cutting-edge research, clinical trials, and multidisciplinary collaborations to advance the field of Hematology Oncology. Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat patients with various blood disorders and cancers. Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans for patients. Monitor patients\' progress and adjust treatment regimens accordingly. Participate in tumor boards and multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases. Stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of Hematology Oncology. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. Conduct research and contribute to academic publications in Hematology Oncology. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and outcomes. Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board certification in Hematology Oncology. Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Valid medical license and ability to practice in the state of New York. Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday Offsite call, every other week Setting: 1 clinic day per week, remaining days are inpatient Patient Volume: 15-20 per shift Providing comprehensive treatment and supportive care services for benign blood disorders and all cancer types Support Staff: 2 MDs, 3 nurses, cancer coordinator, and full clerical/support staff Board certification required Compensation & Benefits
