3rd Shift Warehouse Order Selector - Freezer/Cooler

Position Details: Starting pay is $17.00 an hour, with an additional $2.00 freezer pay, totaling $19.00. Shift starts Sunday at midnight, with subsequent shifts on Monday through Thursday beginning at 1 AM, continuing until completion. Work in cooler and freezer environments, with temperatures ranging from 36°F (2°C) to -10°F (-23°C). Freezer jackets will be provided for your comfort. Position Purpose: As a critical component to our company's success, Warehouse associates actively and safely maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, upholding our quality standards. Primary Responsibilities: The Order Selector plays a key role in moving and tracking all inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse. Key tasks include offloading, stocking, selecting, and replenishing products. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Receiving and appropriately locating all inbound merchandise. Restocking order pick and flow lines to prepare the warehouse for efficient order selection. Ensuring adequate product placement to meet routine or special demands. Maintaining diligent attention to detail in all areas, including balers, aisles, racking, and floors. Transferring merchandise from the receiving area to its designated location and consolidating items into picking containers as needed. Packing products securely in cartons and totes, ensuring proper labeling with shipping IDs and truck run information. Facilitating safe and efficient tracking of all products within the warehouse. Maintaining inventory accuracy by adhering to established system processes. Pulling orders based on the sequencing of delivery routes. Recording the quantities of materials received or distributed. Completing end-of-shift tasks, such as charging power equipment and verifying work done. Keeping workstations orderly and returning supplies and merchandise to their assigned locations. Following all safety policies and procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions or actions immediately. Performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience. 6-12 months of experience in warehouse or distribution work. Ability to work the assigned schedule and any required overtime. Physical capability to stand, walk, lift, and stack items repeatedly during the shift. Able to lift and stack products weighing between 10-35 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds. Comfortable working in multi-temperature environments, including cooler, freezer, and dry settings. Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
