We are seeking a licensed Project Architect to lead design efforts on a large-scale, multi-phase healthcare expansion in Seattle, WA. This role involves new inpatient tower construction, infrastructure upgrades, seismic retrofitting, and renovations—all while maintaining active hospital operations.

Responsibilities
Lead design and technical execution for complex healthcare projects.
Oversee inpatient tower construction, infrastructure upgrades, and seismic retrofitting.
Manage renovations in active hospital environments.
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and construction documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
Licensed Architect.
5+ years of experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on inpatient healthcare facilities.
Deep technical expertise in building codes, specifications, and construction administration.
Proficiency in Revit, Rhino + Grasshopper, and Adobe Suite.
LEED GA certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
One additional sustainability credential within a year (e.g., LEED AP, WELL AP, Passive House).
Must have recent experience in the Seattle architecture industry.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in healthcare architecture.
Strong leadership in coordinating teams and managing stakeholders.
Experience with permitting and construction documentation.
Familiarity with Rhino, stakeholder management, and architectural design.
Disqualifiers
Less than 5 years of relevant experience.
No experience in inpatient healthcare design.
Lack of Seattle industry experience.
Unlicensed candidates.
No Revit proficiency.
Hybrid Schedule
In-office: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
Remote: Wednesday, Friday
Flexibility required for occasional offsite meetings.
