Technical Architect – Utopia Design Join us as a Technical Architect at Utopia Design, leading technical development for boutique hospitality assets.

About the Company Utopia Design is an in‑house architectural firm within a global real‑estate development group, dedicated to creating luxury hospitality destinations. Founded in 2023, we focus on high‑end properties and innovative design.

Role Overview We are looking for a technically strong, detail‑oriented architect to translate design intent into fully coordinated, buildable documentation. Your work will span RIBA Stage 3 to construction, ensuring quality, constructability, and coordination.

Responsibilities

Work on high‑end hospitality projects, focusing on technical development, spatial coordination, and construction‑level detailing.

Translate concept and schematic designs into coordinated, buildable Revit models and documentation across RIBA Stages 3–5.

Develop precise technical layouts and details in Revit, ensuring consistency with design intent and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate architectural models with structural, MEP, and interior design inputs using BIM workflows and Navisworks.

Review, resolve, and prevent coordination issues across disciplines; propose feasible, integrated technical solutions.

Build and manage project typologies, families, and detail libraries to support efficient design development.

Support tender and construction documentation preparation, aligning with specifications and local regulations.

Assist in developing project‑specific systems and façade/roof/technical typologies based on construction logic and material performance.

Provide quality control on Revit models and documentation; conduct technical reviews and flag risks early.

Collaborate with procurement on material specifications and product compatibility.

Stay updated on building systems, construction methods, and BIM automation tools; research and implement best practices.

Supervise and guide BIM modelers and junior technical staff; support department‑wide technical workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.

5 to 10 years of architectural design experience.

Experience on low‑rise residential and hospitality projects, including private homes, villas, hotels, and resorts.

Proficient in Revit, including parametric families, freeform modeling, and terrain modeling.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Navisworks; Rhino, Enscape, or other visualization tools are a plus.

Independent, analytical, and proactive in solving technical and coordination challenges.

Professional level of English, written and verbal.

Portfolio required.

Additional Information • Full‑time, up to 40 hours per week.

• Fully remote; centralized European time zone (CET) working hours 9‑17 or 10‑18; daily team meetings required.

• Utopia does not provide visa sponsorship or relocation package for this position.
