The Director, Product Management – Direct Tax is responsible for visioning, defining, and delivering industry-leading tax software products and leading a team of product managers, delivering Direct Tax products, including ONESOURCE products and Statutory Reporting. The role supports making taxation, simple, transparent, and positive experiences when working with the Internal Revenue Service and other jurisdictions. As a Director, Product Management, you will manage, build, and grow an inclusive team of high-performing product managers focused on customer empathy, continuous learning and experimentation, and iterative delivery of value. Drive product vision and strategy by developing a deep understanding of customer needs, market and technology trends, and business opportunities. Define Product Discovery and Product Delivery roadmaps and enable teams to execute in parallel on Learning Plans and agile delivery of customer value. Enable revenue generation across global customer sub-segments by creating innovative solutions and delivering high-quality, high-impact products and services. Support customer sub-segment and go-to-market teams with product launch and ongoing sales efforts with customer visits and other forms of customer engagement. Contribute to the growth of the global Thomson Reuters Product Management community and the transformation of Thomson Reuters from a holding company to an operating company with shared capabilities and connections across the product portfolio. About You
Owns the product creation and delivery process that delivers delightful customer experiences and drives business impact from concept to design, delivery, experimentation, support, and launch for the Accounting & Advisory product line. Supports setting long-term Corporate Income Tax and Accounting product strategy and roadmap rooted in deep understanding of customer needs and competitive strengths and weaknesses; ensuring priorities align with the overall ATP and business strategy. Envisions and articulates the problem, opportunity, and solution to customers, cross-functional product-build teams, and internal stakeholders. Supports coordinating legislative and compliance changes across the product portfolio through tooling and enablement capabilities. Develops and leads a best-in-class team of product managers in executing the strategic roadmap. Builds strong cross-functional relationships with technology, design, marketing, and sales to deliver high-value experiences. Drives strategic projects outside their area of ownership to influence long-term business strategy. Key deliverables include defining and executing product and business plans to meet revenue, cost, and growth goals for the Global Accounting & Advisory product line; developing roadmaps that outline vision, growth, and ROI across channels and key customers; and prioritizing product discovery and delivery roadmaps based on strategy and data. Delivery of high-quality products and services in partnership with technology and content teams, focusing on continuous improvements in the agile development process. Articulates value for new products and enhancements in collaboration with sub-segments and marketing. Experience in accounting, taxation, and corporate tax compliance is preferred. Entrepreneurial approach with high energy and collaboration; comfortable with ambiguity and evolving requirements; strong time management and organizational skills. Experience with B2B, SaaS product management, preferably with enterprise, financial, tax, and accounting solutions; experience with mature revenue-generating products is required. Broad business and technical acumen with knowledge of technology trends and product-led growth and design-centered thinking. Excellent skills in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and other product management and team collaboration tools are preferred. What’s in it For You?

Compensation varies by location with a base range of $154,000 - $286,000 and potential annual bonus based on performance.
