Responsibilities
Develop new skills outside comfort zone.
Resolve issues preventing effective team function.
Coach others, recognising strengths, and encouraging ownership of personal development.
Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build meaningful recommendations.
Use multiple sources of information, including stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
Address sub‑standard work or work that does not meet firm or client expectations.
Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision‑making.
Develop a point of view on key global trends and their impact on clients.
Manage diverse viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes.
Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points.
Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.
Basic Qualifications Job Requirements and Preferences
Minimum Degree Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Required Fields Of Study:
Accounting
Minimum Years Of Experience:
4 years
Certification(s) Required:
CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance‑specific credentials may qualify.
Required Knowledge And Skills:
Must be able to speak, read and write Japanese.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated extensive experience and record of success in complex tax issues for US, non‑publicly traded entities with extensive operations in Japan.
Extensive level abilities in identifying and addressing client needs, building and maintaining client relationships, communicating value propositions, managing resources, preparing complex written and verbal materials, supervising teams, and coaching staff.

Salary range: $99,000 - $266,000, plus a possible annual discretionary bonus.
