Position Overview The General Manager (GM) will oversee KBFS, a subsidiary headquartered in Huntsville, AL, with operations in Geneva, AL; Crestview, FL; and Temple, TX. The role requires onsite presence (no teleworking) and 30% travel to field sites.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct all business development and marketing functions, coordinating with technical departments.

Develop operating budgets and business plans to support company objectives and executive‑approved plans.

Oversee employment, training, motivation, and discipline of assigned employees.

Serve as primary customer contact for program and department information.

Maintain open communications with customer representatives to develop and expand business opportunities.

Ensure subsidiary responsiveness to customer requirements.

Accountable to the CEO and Director of Finance for profitability and annual growth of 10% while sustaining profitability.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with 15 years of aviation management experience.

Demonstrated P&L accountability to C‑Suite executives for commercial aviation operations.

Extensive knowledge of military and commercial flight, maintenance, and fixed‑base operations.

Experience in federal contract management, FAR/DFARS, profit and loss, aviation insurance, and aviation safety requirements.

Thorough knowledge of FAA rules and regulations.

Will travel 30% to KBFS field sites in Geneva, AL; Crestview, FL; and Temple, TX.
