Desktop Support Analyst – San Francisco, CA
Description
Our client is looking for a desktop support technician to provide onsite support at their San Francisco location. The role is the sole IT technician, supporting up to 30 employees, responsible for level 1–2 technical support in a Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environment. The technician will troubleshoot hardware/software issues, image and upgrade devices, and provide customer service and training to employees of all levels. The position requires a proactive approach to enhance service efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
Deliver level 1–2 onsite technical support for desktop, laptop, peripherals, and software.
Troubleshoot hardware and Windows 11/Office 365 issues, imaging and upgrading devices.
Provide customer orientation, training, and documentation to staff.
Escalate unresolved problems to the broader help desk and contribute to process improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Intermediate level experience in desktop support.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, and printer/AV support.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Self‑starter with time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
Experience with imaging solutions and vendor coordination.
