Responsibilities
Design, estimate, and execute technology implementation projects for our clients.
Recommend the most suitable technological approaches, team structures, and skill sets to effectively capture and synthesize client requirements.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance.
Support practice and company development through leading research and development initiatives, peer training, and creating reusable software development accelerators.
Apply Credera’s best practices and industry standards to ensure the quality and efficiency of technology implementation projects.
Lead one or more teams of skilled technologists, providing necessary leadership, mentoring, and development to drive success.
Who You Are
Experienced, hands‑on software architect with at least 8 years in the industry or technology consulting.
Spend at least 40% of your time actively developing code.
Passionate for technology breadth and keeps up to date on the latest application development technologies and trends.
Deep understanding of multiple technology development stacks across UX, middle tier, and database platforms; well versed in different software development methodologies.
Accomplished at mentoring, leading, and developing others; currently lead teams that develop complex, high‑volume, mission‑critical enterprise solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage customers at both business and technical levels.
Comfortable with developing business cases and justifications that grow the customer relationship and satisfaction; familiar with contract terms and conditions.
Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Scala, .NET, Rust, JavaScript (React, Angular, NodeJS), Python, Ruby.
Experience with one or more of the following cloud platforms and container technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda.
Experience with one or more of the following DevOps and automation tools: CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform), cloud‑native APIs, testing automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), and data automation tools (e.g., Liquibase).
Incorporate the usage of AI tooling efficiencies and code assistance tooling in everyday workflows.

Compensation and Benefits For individuals hired to work in Chicago, Credera is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and includes the range of factors considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training. The compensation range is $160,000—$205,000 USD. The salary range listed is provided for informational purposes only.
