Overview
Develop a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business goals and design scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions for applications and data migration, modernization.
Responsibilities
Architect tailored GCP solutions for applications migration, modernization, and data modernization following best practices.
Evaluate and select Google Cloud services and third‑party tools.
Conduct workshops and presentations to demonstrate solution feasibility and value.
Lead design and implementation of Proof of Concept to validate proposed solutions.
Guide technical solution development for applications modernization, migration of applications, data modernization, solution integration, and infrastructure to GCP.
Ensure optimal performance of cloud solutions through monitoring and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with IT security teams to maintain data privacy and compliance.
Work closely with sales, delivery, and business teams to deliver solutions.
Provide technical guidance on Google Cloud best practices and stay updated on emerging technologies and trends.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years in architecture or 10 years in engineering roles related to hybrid cloud solutions for applications migration, modernization, data modernization with a proven track record of successful client engagements.
Minimum 3 years in architecture or 5 years in engineering roles related to GCP solutions for application and data migration, modernization.
Experience designing and implementing strategies to migrate and modernize data infrastructure to the cloud, ensuring data security and compliance.
Design data architecture on the cloud, including data lakes, warehouses, pipelines, and ingestion mechanisms.
Implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Proficiency in Google Cloud and other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) for applications migration, modernization, data modernization.
Experience architecting containerized, cloud‑native, hybrid/multi‑cloud, and microservices solutions, using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles.
Communication & Personal Attributes
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Highly motivated, results‑oriented, strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Understanding of DevOps concepts.
Ability to lead cross‑functional teams effectively.
