This role is for a F‑35 Production GSC Program Manager 3 and will be responsible, accountable and have the authority for the operational efficiency, strategy, planning and execution of the Production GSC execution for the F‑35. This role is part of the GSC Program Management team and will be challenged to resolve issues and implement solutions in a quick fast‑paced environment – including process improvements, tools, metrics, data integration, and coordination and collaboration with key GSC and program stakeholders. This is a 100% in‑person position. The candidate will be expected to be in Palmdale every Wednesday at a minimum.
Job Responsibilities
Single Point of Contact (POC) for a portion of the GSC SOW to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) Director.
Responsible for timely closure of assigned actions, projects, initiatives and efforts for GSC in support of the IPT goals and expectations.
Work with the GSC functional homerooms and establish the GSC training strategy, plan, facilitators and milestone completion status and health.
Ability to travel international and domestic up to 10%.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, engineering, resource planning or accounting; or a Master’s Degree with 5 years of experience in the same areas; or a high school diploma/equivalent with 11 years of experience in these fields.
Must have Aerospace experience.
Must have experience with manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters of Business Administration.
Masters of Science in Supply Chain.
Must have the ability to prepare and present Executive‑level presentations.
Must have program costs and/or schedule experience, CAM experience.
Proven ability to set a vision; assess external and internal factors to determine long‑term business direction; create strategies that shape the future and inspire the team, resulting in sustainable value and performance; critical thinking.
Proven ability to lead with courage; make bold moves, willingness to speak up and to take on new challenges; take calculated risks, with appropriate mitigation plans; self‑aware, transparent and authentic; seek feedback from others.
Proven ability to act with speed; understand the need for urgency to meet the needs of the business and stakeholders; decisive, drive timely decision‑making; empower others with clear accountability and appropriate support.
Experience as an accomplished problem‑solver and change‑agent whose unique mix of technical and business expertise lends itself to developing innovative Supply Chain strategies.
Salary and Benefits Primary Level Salary Range: $170,000.00 – $255,000.00 per year.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for long‑term incentives.
