Position Summary The Vetco Clinic Lead serves as the field team lead for daily delivery of veterinary care. The role provides functional direction to field staff, coordinates clinic logistics, and serves as the primary point of escalation for clinic‑related customer, vet or store partner issues. • Responsible for overall performance and operational compliance of day‑to‑day clinics. • Drives product and service sales during clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional direction and supervision to the field team.
Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring all processes and paperwork are completed accurately.
Drive safe operation of company‑supplied vehicles to and from clinic locations.
Communicate with customers and partners to manage difficult situations and resolve incidents.
Coordinate with clinic leadership to determine optimal clinic locations, crowd‑management practices, and address arising issues.
Ensure proper handling of revenues, deposits, and end‑of‑day reconciliations.
Assist in training new partners per the training plan.
Maintain clinic cleanliness and safety, removing sharps, waste, and ensuring equipment security.
Report clinic performance and provide site reports to management.
Escalate clinic issues via incident reporting to Market Manager, Store Manager, or Vetco Customer Service.
Qualifications
Experience performing clinic job roles and leading a team.
Strong customer service skills and basic sales aptitude.
Leadership qualities with the ability to provide functional direction and resolve difficult situations.
Comfortable handling and restraining animals within company policy.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
Good standing with current partners.
Work Environment Standards for safety include lifting up to 40 lbs, rotating between bent, kneeling, and standing positions, and potential overnight travel in certain locations.
Compensation Birmingham, AL – $160,000.00–$180,000.00
