The Role We are seeking a Director of Accounting to lead financial operations across our multi‑entity portfolio. This role will oversee all accounting and reporting, manage property‑level and corporate financials, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide strategic insights to ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead accounting for hospitality and real estate assets (multi‑entity, multi‑property)
Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
Manage cash flow, audits, and tax filings with external partners
Review CAM reconciliations, rent escalations, lease accounting, and Property Improvement Plan (PIP) tracking
Supervise the accounting team and streamline processes in Yardi Breeze and hotel PMS systems (OnQ, Lightspeed, FOSSI)
Advise leadership on acquisitions, refinancing, and insurance matters
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
5–10 years of accounting experience, ideally in real estate or hospitality
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Proficiency in advanced Excel, Yardi Breeze, and hotel PMS systems
Proven leadership and multi‑entity financial management experience
