About the Role At PwC, our finance consulting professionals advise clients on financial management and strategy. As a director‑level leader, you will set the strategic direction, drive business development, and oversee multiple projects while maintaining executive‑level client relationships. Your expertise in capital markets, complex accounting, and financial reporting will help clients optimise performance and improve decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Participate as an individual contributor and team member on complex accounting and financial reporting matters

Set strategic direction and drive business growth

Oversee multiple projects and maintain executive‑level client relations

Demonstrate thought leadership in capital markets and complex accounting

Operate in a constantly changing, fast‑paced work environment

Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders

Identify and address client needs

Mentor and develop future leaders

What You Must Have

Bachelor’s Degree

8+ years of relevant experience

At least one of the following credentials: CPA, Level 3 CFA, JD, PhD, MBA, or a Master’s degree in Finance, Tax, Quantitative Statistics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Real Estate Finance, or Hospitality A State Licensed Appraiser License, MAI, ASA, CRE, CRI, CCIM, CHA, or PMP

What Sets You Apart

Preferred knowledge in US GAAP financial instrument guidance

Thought‑leader level abilities in capital markets and complex accounting

Experience as an individual contributor & team member with senior Financial Markets practitioners

Valuing derivatives and US GAAP requirements

Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills with industry audiences

Current application of technical accounting and financial reporting standards

Global perspective on business issues

Adaptability to shifting priorities and challenges

Effective delegation, coaching, and constructive feedback abilities

Relationship‑building to create exceptional client and people experience

Confident, clear communication and anticipation of others’ needs

Benefits at a glance

Compensation Salary range: $134,000 – $410,000 plus annual discretionary bonus (location dependent). Salary determined by skills, experience, and qualifications.
