DIRECTOR OF DISTRIBUTION ENGINEERING (PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER) SEnergy is seeking a proactive, assertive, take-charge leader who has a high level of experience in Distribution Engineering and a Professional Engineering license to lead and mentor a division of the Company. The successful candidate will have 15 or more years of experience in Distribution Engineering for the power industry and should be an analytical thinker with a progressive track record in leading teams. Job Responsibilities

The Engineering Director is a senior engineer recognized for achievement in the industry and within our Company. They lead cross-organizational mentoring, employee development, process improvement and align project work with business strategy. The role acts as a force multiplier by promoting best practices, ensuring understanding of processes, and helping less experienced engineers and consultants develop. The Engineering Director collaborates with executive leadership and contributes to business strategy. The Engineering Director role is designated to key industry leaders and Subject Matter Experts who serve critical roles internally and externally for our primary lines of business. Internally, responsibilities include innovation, driving best practices, mentoring and training, market analysis, quality control, and final project delivery standards. They may serve as project manager for key projects or clients where direct oversight is essential for project success. Externally, the Engineering Director represents our services to existing and potential clients. They work with the Business Development group for scheduling, leading, and participating in client check-ins, attending development meetings, and building a portfolio of work in their specialty. For marketing, the Engineering Director partners with the Business Development group on proposals and qualifications development, maintains/improves project approaches, and focuses on economics of services and market position. They identify key leads and develop strategic relationships aligned with Company objectives. Leadership Responsibilities

Leads and coordinates various engineering and consulting functions and operations, including cross-organizational execution of the quality assurance plan. Be an ambassador for the Company both internally and externally, leading by example. Monitor client satisfaction with SE services and personnel, addressing and resolving sensitive issues as they arise. Establishes, communicates, and implements engineering, consulting, development policies, practices, processes, standards, and quality assurance measures to ensure effective and consistent products and services. Acts as technical leader for a line of business, maintains knowledge of trends and best practices, and represents the line of business to clients. Collaborates with the Company’s executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while guiding engineering, technical, and consulting staff on projects. Performs market analyses and submits reports to executive leadership. Creates project proposals and performs project management duties as required, with emphasis on leveraging time by assigning projects and tasks to project managers; develops and trains project managers. Collaborates with managers, leads, and supervisors to develop APR goals for engineering, technical, and consulting staff. Completes accurate timesheets daily. Other duties as assigned. Requirements

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; PE License. 15 years of experience in Distribution Engineering for the energy industry. 15 years of experience in progressive management. Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in project management, spreadsheets, and word processing. Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities. Physical Ability to listen, good eyesight, and ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and arms. Benefits
