Overview La Jolla Playhouse seeks a temporary Marketing Assistant to join this renowned theatre company based in La Jolla, San Diego. Based at La Jolla Playhouse’s administrative offices, and under the guidance of the Associate Director of Sales and Marketing, the Marketing Assistant will work on campaigns for our season of six shows, WOW Festival and other events and programs. The Marketing Assistant assists with and coordinates projects from conception to completion, including aspects of marketing plans, and supports administrative functions of the department.

Responsibilities

Assist with and coordinate projects from conception to completion, including aspects of marketing plans.

Support administrative functions of the Sales and Marketing department.

Work on campaigns for the season of six shows, WOW Festival and other events and programs.

Collaborate with multiple departments as needed, including Patron Services, Production, Artistic, Philanthropy, Learning and Engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ability to work with accuracy and exemplary attention to detail in a busy environment.

High level of organization; ability to respond to requests swiftly and with flexibility while meeting deadlines and priorities.

Great interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Salary & Benefits Salary is $22.00 per hour. This is a full-time non-exempt (hourly) position with benefits including paid time off, free parking and complimentary tickets to Playhouse performances. Assignment ends 07/31/2026 (possible extension).
