The opportunity
Teva is searching for a Sales Representative to join our Neuroscience sales team for the San Antonio West, TX area. The role delivers results by working together in a compliant and ethical manner, aligning resources to meet organizational objectives, upholding Teva’s culture and values, and analyzing trends to deliver value in customer interactions. The Sales Specialist plans and completes business activities via aligned objectives, analytics, and available resources, builds strong networks with internal and external stakeholders, and communicates effectively to move the customer toward the solution.
How you’ll spend your day

Build rapport and relationships with regional team members and key external contacts at all levels, addressing their needs appropriately
Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in-servicing of products to current and potential customers
Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide product and patient education
Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their needs and drive sales targets
Review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds
Address external market challenges while fostering collaboration with internal teams to drive cohesive sales strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and achieve shared objectives
Maintain a call average as outlined in the sales plan, focusing on top target customers
Take calculated risks and apply problem-solving techniques to improve performance
Adhere to Teva’s compliance policies and guidelines
Achieve sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete administrative duties for geographical assignment
Your experience and qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in related field
At least 1 year of full-time, documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Proven record of accomplishments in this market toward meeting objectives
Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, open communication, inclusivity, and openness to feedback
Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Ability to interact with HCPs in person or virtually, and proficiency with technology
Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred
New product launch experience preferred
Broad therapeutic area experience preferred
Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening
Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Full time documented business to business sales experience dependent on level. Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred. Level of the role will be commensurate with experience and performance criteria.
Sales Specialist : Minimum 1 year
Executive Sales Specialist : Minimum 7 years
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Regular travel, including air travel and weekend or overnight travel
Compensation Data
The annual starting salary for this position ranges from $88,000 to $170,000, depending on geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications. The role qualifies for participation in the company’s sales incentive plan, with targets and guidelines established by the plan.
