Senior Director Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will lead the FP&A function, driving strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. This role partners closely with executive leadership to provide data‑driven insights and financial guidance to support decision‑making and long‑term growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and a hands‑on operator who thrives in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning – Lead the annual budget, long‑range financial planning, and quarterly reforecasting processes in collaboration with senior leadership, modeling scenarios and translating data into actionable insights for the executive team and board.

Operational and Financial Analysis – Own monthly and quarterly financial reporting, variance analysis, executive dashboards, margin and service‑line profitability, and identify opportunities for cost containment and revenue optimization.

Decision Support & Business Intelligence – Develop and maintain dashboards, evaluate return on investment for capital projects and new service lines, conduct benchmarking using industry data.

Team Leadership & Collaboration – Manage and mentor FP&A analysts, serve as liaison between finance, IT, operations, and clinical teams to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy, promote continuous improvement.

Regulatory & Compliance – Ensure financial plans comply with healthcare regulations, support audits, cost reports, and not‑for‑profit status requirements.

Business Partnership – Provide financial guidance on key initiatives, pricing strategies, and support M&A activities, including due diligence and post‑acquisition analysis.

Executive & Board Reporting – Prepare materials and analysis for board meetings, investor updates, and executive presentations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

Strong experience with financial modeling, planning systems, and business analytics tools (Excel, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, Power BI).

Demonstrated financial management skills and ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Experience partnering with executive teams and influencing strategic decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.

CPA certification.

Experience in healthcare.
