Position Overview The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Marketing Manager with the day-to-day operations of promoting our student housing communities. You will assist in executing marketing strategies, managing social media content, organizing events, and interacting with students and prospective tenants. This position is ideal for someone passionate about real estate, marketing, and creating engaging experiences for college students.
Key Responsibilities Marketing & Advertising
Support the Marketing Manager in developing and executing digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including email newsletters, flyers, social media, and other promotional activities.
Help create, schedule, and monitor social media posts across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.), ensuring consistent branding and engagement with UC Berkeley students.
Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, posters, digital ads, and blog posts that highlight the benefits of living in our student housing communities.
Maintain branding and optics guidelines with Marketing Manager.
Event Coordination & Community Engagement
Assist in planning and executing on-site events (e.g., open houses, move-in days, student mixers) to engage current residents and attract prospective tenants.
Interact with UC Berkeley students, gather feedback, and help foster a sense of community within the properties.
Administrative
Occasionally assist the leasing team with tours, answering inquiries, and providing information to prospective residents.
Conduct research on competitors, market trends, and student housing preferences to help optimize marketing strategies.
Help with administrative duties related to marketing efforts, such as maintaining marketing calendars, tracking campaign performance, and updating contact lists.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
