Introduction Our client is a full‑service small animal hospital in Goleta, CA, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their practice. The hospital is well established and provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care supported by an experienced leadership team, a Board‑Certified Veterinary Practitioner, and trained technical staff.
Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a full‑time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high‑quality medical, surgical, and dental care. Daily duties include routine wellness exams, vaccinations, dentistry, and a range of surgical procedures such as spaying and neutering, mass removals, foreign body surgeries, wound management, urethrectomy, cystectomy, and dental surgery. Emergency and urgent care is also provided during hospital hours. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details The hospital offers advanced diagnostic capabilities including ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiology, and digital dental radiology. Services provided include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, senior pet care, puppy and kitten care, daytime emergency care, soft tissue and reproductive surgeries, and preventative medicine. The practice has an affluent client base and a positive, collaborative culture supported by a long‑tenured team.
Team The hospital currently has one DVM working alongside a highly skilled and experienced support team who provide collaborative assistance and ensure a positive, supportive environment.
Candidate requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
Package Salary up to $200,000 (Annual)
$175 k – $200 k Base Salary + Production
