Introduction Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital in Carlsbad, California seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their outstanding team. The hospital provides high-quality care for cats and dogs, offering preventive services, surgery, dentistry, radiology, and more in a modern facility just minutes from the beach. Both full-time and part-time candidates are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Flexible full-time and part-time schedules are available.
Role Description and Responsibilities The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive services including wellness and preventive care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, and urgent care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a progressive, well-equipped hospital with an experienced team.
Practice Details The hospital operates from a modern 4,000 sq. foot facility designed to support comprehensive, high-quality care. Services offered include routine exams, vaccinations, dental care, geriatric care, diagnostics and laboratory services, surgery, and urgent care. In-house technology includes digital radiography, ultrasound, bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, cold laser therapy, ECG/EKG, and digital dental x-rays.
Team The practice currently has 4 DVMs working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Candidate Requirements
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
Package
Salary up to $170,000 (Annual)
$100k - $170k Base Salary + Production
