Position Summary The Department seeks a board‑certified or board‑eligible physician in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for a joint clinical and academic appointment with Shady Grove Fertility (SGF) Tampa Bay. The role combines clinical care, teaching, research, and program development in a high‑volume academic medical center.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive reproductive endocrinology and infertility care, including fertility evaluations, IUI, IVF, ovulation induction, endocrine disorders, fertility preservation, third‑party reproduction, and reproductive surgery (minimally invasive, hysteroscopic, laparoscopic) at Tampa General Hospital.

Participate in outpatient clinics, surgical procedures, and on‑call coverage.

Collaborate with nursing, embryology, and allied health staff to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.

Support growth of clinical programs, including innovations in ART, fertility preservation, LGBTQ+ family‑building, etc.

Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows; serve as preceptor in clinical rotations.

Lead or participate in didactic sessions, journal clubs, and grand rounds.

Conduct or lead clinical, translational, or basic science research aligned with REI; seek external funding and publish findings.

Present findings at regional and national conferences.

Participate in departmental, college, and university service; represent the department in institutional and external activities.

Academic Responsibilities

Teach and mentor learners at all levels.

Guide REI fellows, ob‑gyn residents, and medical students.

Qualifications Required

MD, MD/Ph.D., or DO from an accredited medical school.

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Full, unrestricted Florida medical license.

Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, research, and service at assistant/associate/full professor level; record of achievements in teaching, academic research, and service.

Preferred

Academic teaching and research experience.

Record of scholarly publication or research funding.

Interest in leadership, program development, or innovation in reproductive medicine.
