Facility Salary:
$171,000/yr to $270,000/yr plus benefits
The Director of Acute Care Pharmacy Services is responsible for the direction, leadership, operations, financial, regulatory, and quality components of all acute care hospital pharmacy departments within. This role works to optimize pharmacy services delivery by aligning pharmacy service infrastructure with system goals while enhancing efficiency and patient care quality. The senior director will collaborate at a system level to standardize medication use processes across all hospital-based clinical services areas.
Education & Experience
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a PharmD degree
Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent work experience.
Three (3) years of health-system pharmacy leadership and management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, or business preferred
Has held administrative positions in a large academic or complex health system for at least five (5) years
Certification/License
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist for both Illinois and Wisconsin
Board certified through the Board of Pharmacy Specialists – preferred.
