Shift Details

  • Full-time, standard business hours

  • Primarily day shifts, Monday Friday

  • No on-call requirements

Your Role

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all acute care pharmacy departments

  • Develop and implement policies, programs, and protocols across the system

  • Ensure regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, USP 797/800, state/federal regulations)

  • Lead performance improvement initiatives and monitor department metrics

  • Oversee fiscal management including staffing, budget, and resource allocation

  • Mentor and develop pharmacy managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence

  • Participate in key committees, including Pharmacy & Therapeutics, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Patient Safety

About the Location

  • PharmD from an accredited college or university

  • PGY2 residency in health-system pharmacy administration or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of health-system pharmacy leadership experience (administrative experience in a complex health system preferred)

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in Illinois and Wisconsin

  • Board certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialists preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of pharmacy operations, leadership, and regulatory compliance

  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Microsoft Office Suite
