Radiologic Technologist - Vista Location: 910 Sycamore Avenue, Vista, CA 92084, United States Filing Deadline: Mon 11/3/2025 Responsibilities
Working under general supervision, the Radiologic Technologist performs routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment in General Diagnostic Radiology, in accordance with established guidelines and protocols. Acts as a Diagnostic subject matter expert and assists other technologists as needed. Demonstrates and applies knowledge of radiation safety. Prepares and positions the patient for procedures to achieve the highest quality image. Adheres to radiologist‑specified protocols, enters complex data into the computer system, and reviews, verifies, and evaluates images to ensure technical and diagnostic quality. Ensures compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Maintains effective communication with patients, coworkers, physicians, and the healthcare team. May provide front and back-office support and perform other duties as assigned to maintain smooth departmental operations. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of a school of radiologic technology. At least 18 months of experience in a similar role and setting. California Radiologic Technologist – Radiography (CRT-R). BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to obtain BART within six months of hire date. Recent experience in a similar role and setting or new graduate of an approved radiologic technology program. Demonstrated knowledge of radiological computerized systems and applications. Possess the skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position. Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred. Outpatient and urgent care experience preferred. Understanding of PACS and RIS and other radiological systems. Bilingual in English and Spanish. California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F). Experience in a similar clinical role and setting. Special Conditions
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre‑employment physical. Pay Transparency
Annual Full Pay Range: $102,667 - $127,681 (will be prorated if appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $49.17 - $61.15 Factors in determining compensation include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business needs. The Hiring Pay Scale is the budgeted salary or hourly range the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than the amount anticipated to pay based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). Additional Information
