Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on

Director of Analytics

to lead the analytics function supporting the

Good Sam

business. This leader will be responsible for driving data-driven decision making across marketing, membership, and customer experience functions, with a focus on growth, retention, and optimization. The Director will manage a high-performing team of analysts and data professionals, ensuring timely delivery of insights, strong stakeholder partnerships, and continued professional development within the team. This is a

hybrid role based in Chicago, IL . Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

Lead and mentor the analytics team, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Develop and execute the analytics strategy aligned with Good Sam’s business goals, marketing priorities, and customer growth initiatives.

Partner with senior leadership to define KPIs, measurement frameworks, and success metrics for marketing, membership, and retention programs.

Analytics & Insights

Oversee the design and execution of marketing and growth experiments, A/B testing, and customer segmentation analyses.

Deliver actionable insights that inform acquisition, engagement, cross-sell, and churn reduction strategies.

Translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations that drive business impact.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and effective use of analytics tools and data visualization platforms.

Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as the primary analytics partner to Marketing, Product, and Business Operations teams.

Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and prioritization of analytics initiatives.

Communicate insights and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear and compelling manner.

Operational Excellence

Manage team workload, project prioritization, and delivery timelines.

Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in analytics operations.

Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data infrastructure supports evolving analytical needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, with at least 2+ years in a leadership capacity.

Proven success leading teams responsible for marketing, customer, or product analytics—preferably within

insurance, loyalty, or marketing analytics

environments.

Strong technical foundation with experience in SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Deep understanding of marketing measurement, attribution, experimentation, and customer lifecycle analytics.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate data insights into business action.

Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Must be based in or willing to relocate to

Chicago, IL area

; hybrid work schedule required.

Travel up to 10% of time
